Job summary

Avensys Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking a capable Business Analyst to engage with stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate them into functional specifications for IT projects.

You will document current and future processes, create user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborate with architects, developers and testers to ensure solutions meet business needs. 2–4 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in IT projects.
• Strong requirements elicitation and analysis skills.
• Experience documenting requirements and user stories.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and process modelling concepts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, pain points, and requirements.
• Facilitate requirements workshops and translate needs into functional specs.
• Document current and future-state processes and user journeys.
• Identify gaps, dependencies, and ambiguities with traceability.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional design specs.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and project teams.
• Define data interfaces, mappings, and API dependencies.
• Support SIT, UAT, test reviews, and post-production validation.
• Act as the bridge between business and technology teams.
• Keep requirements documentation up to date throughout delivery.
