Job summary

COMBUILDER PTE LTD is seeking a proactive Business Analyst to gather, analyse and document complex requirements from multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced Singapore-based environment. You will translate business needs into user stories, use cases and technical specs, collaborate with developers, designers and QA, and support UAT and testing activities.

The role emphasizes process improvements, Design Thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• At least 1 year of QA or software-testing experience, including manual testing and defect management.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into functional/technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
• Review existing business processes and recommend improvements.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, use cases, functional requirements and technical specifications.
• Conduct impact assessments and feasibility studies for new initiatives and system enhancements.
• Facilitate workshops to identify user needs and define project scope.
• Apply Design Thinking and user‑centred approaches to develop practical solutions.
• Support ideation, prototyping, user testing and solution refinement.
• Work closely with developers, UX/UI designers, project managers, product owners and QA teams.
• Prepare test plans and test cases, conduct end‑to‑end testing and support UAT.
• Track and manage defects to ensure issues are resolved.
• Prioritise competing requirements and help stakeholders make informed decisions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives).
• Maintain accurate project and system documentation.
