Job summary

ShopeePay Regional BI&A Team in Singapore is seeking a data-driven professional to transform raw data into strategic insights that propel user growth, engagement, and revenue in Southeast Asia.

You will lead data-centric projects, collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, and help optimize data pipelines and reporting. A strong SQL background and Python familiarity are essential, with the potential to apply AI tools to improve operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/Engineering/Analytics/IT/Finance/Statistics or related field.
• Strong ability to utilize SQL for complex data querying and analysis.
• Python experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to independently drive project milestones and deliver results on time.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, logical approach to business challenges.
• Excellent communication to articulate insights to stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with AI tools, workflow automation, or applying generative AI solutions to improve operations is advantageous.

5. Perform data cleaning and transformation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency of data within the datamart.
6. Support the enhancement and optimization of data infrastructure, including data pipelines, data models, and reporting frameworks, to improve scalability and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree and above in Computer Science/Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Finance/Banking, Statistics or other related fields.
2. Strong ability to utilize SQL for complex data querying and analysis.
3. Ability to work with Python is a plus.
4. Demonstrated ability to independently drive project milestones and deliver results in a timely manner.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and logical approach to addressing business challenges.
6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate insights and complex information clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
