Job summary

Shopee in Singapore is seeking a Regional Affiliate Analytics Lead who translates business questions into structured analyses, uncovers growth opportunities, and communicates insights to senior stakeholders.

You will partner with regional and country teams, drive data-driven strategies, define metrics with BI groups, and independently manage analytics projects from problem framing to implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Analytics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in business analytics, strategy & growth analytics, consulting, or similar roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure ambiguous business problems and develop data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with regional and country stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical problems and hypotheses.
• Analyse affiliate performance and business drivers to identify trends, diagnose performance gaps, uncover growth opportunities, and generate actionable insights.
• Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations and strategic action plans, connecting data insights to business impact.
• Work closely with BI/data teams to conceptualize data requirements, define metrics and measurement frameworks, and develop effective analytical solutions.
• Independently drive analytical projects from problem definition and data analysis through to stakeholder alignment and implementation follow-up.
• Present analytical findings, business implications, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at different levels, including senior management.
• Support regional strategy development, market reviews, business planning, competitive analysis, and evaluation of new growth opportunities.
• Develop an understanding of affiliate business drivers, including KOL/creator performance, funnel, content, attribution, and cost efficiency, and establish best practices across markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Analytics, or a related field
• Minimally 2 years of experience in business/commercial analytics, strategy & growth analytics, consulting, or similar roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous business problems and develop data-driven solutions independently
• Comfortable working with data
• Strong ability to translate data findings into business insights, actionable recommendations, and clear management presentations
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across different functions, markets, and stakeholder levels
• Curious, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
• E-commerce, marketplace, digital platform, or affiliate/creator economy experience is a plus
