Job description

Business Analyst Description - Job Summary • This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data to support decision-making and provide insights to the organization. The role applies statistical and analytical methods to explore data, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and extract actionable insights. The role helps organization make data-driven decisions, optimize processes, and achieve their strategic objectives. The role provides strategic recommendations to senior management based on data insights.

Responsibilities
  • Participates as a member of a business enablement team, carrying out the investigation, design, development, execution, and implementation of data-driven projects and solutions to generate new insights, products, technologies, and intellectual property.
  • In accordance with plan, performs/executes data collection and analysis procedures and data insight visualizations for assigned projects. This includes self-driven generation of insights and recommendations using data visualisation tools (PowerBI), as well as synthesizing insights generated through the creation and use of machine learning and AI agents
  • Collaborates with internal and external partners to perform experiments and validations in accordance with overall plan.
  • Collects, records, and analyzes data using established protocols and processes; communicates findings to other team members for review and feedback.
  • Assists in development of data stories for presentations and business reviews
  • Develops mathematical and financial models, performs experimentation, creates and supports data-driven apps and dashboards to translate data into intelligence.
  • Participates in the data quality governance framework design and optimization, including process, standards, rules, etc.
  • Works independently on moderate scope problems, applying professional expertise, exercising judgment, and resolving various issues by following company policies and procedures.
  • Applies data analysis skills towards the creation of data solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform
Recommended
  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Management, Finance or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in business or financial data analytics, database management, statistical analysis, or a related field
