Job summary

HP Singapore is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to drive analytics for Materials Assurance of Supply (AOS) and risk mitigation that prevent factory disruptions and customer impact.

You will support NPI, product transitions, and EOL activities by identifying and mitigating material and supply risks, own Pumori data governance, and deliver dashboards translating demand trends into actionable insights for leadership.

Qualifications

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience, typically 2–4 years in supply chain.
  • Strong analytical and data modeling skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of supply chain processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and other analytical aids.

Responsibilities

  • Drive AOS analytics and risk mitigation to prevent disruptions.
  • Support NPI, product transitions, and EOL activities by mitigating risks.
  • Provide data-driven insights on sourcing strategies, buffers, and risk diversification.
  • Own Pumori data governance across the material lifecycle.
  • Analyze and support material buffer strategies to balance protection and inventory.
  • Lead analytical support for LT B planning and execution.
  • Produce operational reports and dashboards for leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Factory Ops, Procurement, Engineering, and Finance.
  • Support governance, reviews, and war rooms through structured analysis.

Business Operations Analyst Description - What a Business Operations Analyst does at HP:

Drive Material Assurance of Supply (AOS) analytics and risk mitigation to prevent factory disruptions and customer impact. Support NPI, product transitions, and EOL activities by identifying and mitigating material and supply risks. Enable supply chain resiliency initiatives through data‑driven insights on sourcing strategies, buffers, and risk diversification. Own Pumori data governance, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across the material lifecycle. Analyze and support execution of material buffer strategies to balance supply protection and inventory exposure. Lead analytical support for Last Time Buy (LTB) planning and execution to ensure continuity of supply. Produce operational reports and dashboards, translating supply‑demand trends into actionable insights for leadership. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Planning, Factory Ops, Procurement, Engineering, and Finance to improve end‑to‑end processes. Support operational governance, reviews, and war rooms through structured analysis and clear communication.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

Education and Experience Required: First level university degree or equivalent experience Typically 2-4 years of experience in a supply chain function.

  • Demonstrated understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver).
  • Strong analytical and data modeling skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Developed Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and other analytical aids to help manage the operation.
  • Developing Project Management Skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
  • Proficient understanding of HP's overall supply chain strategy.
