Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computing, Electrical Engineering, IT, or equivalent
• MINDEF Security Directive (MSD) CAT 1 security clearance required
• 2 years' experience in system analysis and design with Java training or certification OR 1 year experience in MINDEF / SAF Java EE projects

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit and document detailed business requirements, producing comprehensive BRDs
• Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for enhancement and automation
• Translate business requirements into precise functional specifications for solution implementation
• Design and document solutions including process flows, data models, and integration strategies
• Collaborate with technical teams to validate solution practicality and alignment with business objectives
• Develop UAT plans and test cases, participating in testing to ensure solution robustness
• Monitor platform usage and performance metrics to identify improvements based on data-driven insights
• Stay informed on platform updates and emerging features, assess their impact and relevance
• Implement enhancements to improve platform efficiency and effectiveness for digital transformation initiatives
• Experience with ServiceNow platform

Job Summary

The Business Analyst - will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams. The primary goal is to ensure that solutions are aligned with business objectives and optimized for efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit and document detailed business requirements, producing comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
• Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for enhancement and automation
• Translate business requirements into precise functional specifications for solution implementation
• Design and document solutions including process flows, data models, and integration strategies to support technical feasibility and sustainability
• Collaborate with technical teams to validate solution practicality and alignment with business objectives
• Develop User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans and test cases, actively participating in testing to ensure solution robustness and compliance
• Monitor platform usage and performance metrics to identify and recommend continuous improvements based on data-driven insights
• Stay informed on platform updates and emerging features, assessing their impact and relevance to organizational needs
• Implement enhancements to improve platform efficiency and effectiveness, supporting digital transformation initiatives

Required competencies and certifications

• Singapore Citizen
• Degree in Computer Science, Computing, Electrical Engineering, IT, or equivalent
• Ability to obtain and maintain MINDEF Security Directive (MSD) CAT 1 security clearance
• Minimum two (2) years' experience in system analysis and design with Java training or certification, OR minimum one (1) year experience in system analysis and design in MINDEF / SAF Java EE projects

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow platform
