Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computing, Electrical Engineering, IT or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in system analysis and design and Java training/certification.
• At least 1 year experience in system analysis and design in MINDEF / SAF Java EE projects.

Responsibilities

• Requirements gathering and analysis: Deliver BRD and lead stakeholder interviews; analyze current processes and workflows for enhancements and automation.
• Solution design: Deliver Playbook/Runbook and onboarding guide; translate requirements into functional specs; document data models and integration strategies with technical teams.
• Implementation support: Develop UAT Test Plan and Test Cases; participate in testing to ensure requirements are met.
• Continuous improvement: Track usage/metrics; stay updated on platform features and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency.

Job description

The Business Analyst will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams. The primary goal is to ensure that solutions are aligned with business objectives and optimized for efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1.Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
• -Deliverable: Detailed Business Requirements Document (BRD)
• -Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit and document business requirements accurately.
• -Thoroughly analyze current business processes and workflows, pinpointing areas for enhancement and automation.
• 2.Solution Design:
• -Deliverable: Product Playbook and Runbook, Product Onboarding Form and Guide
• -Translate business requirements into precise functional specifications for implementation.
• -Design and document comprehensive solutions, incorporating process flows, data models, and integration strategies.
• -Work closely with technical teams to verify the practicality and sustainability of proposed solutions.
• 3.Implementation Support:
• -Deliverable: User acceptance testing (UAT) Test Plan and Test Cases
• -Engage actively in testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure robustness and adherence to requirements.
• 4.Continuous Improvement:
• -Track usage and performance metrics, using data-driven insights to identify opportunities for continual platform refinement.
• -Keep abreast of updates and emerging features, evaluating their potential impact and organizational relevance.
• -Recommend and implement enhancements to improve platform efficiency and efficacy.

Requirements :

• Shall have a degree in Computer Science, Computing, Electrical Engineering, IT or equivalent.
• Shall fulfil at least one of the following criteria:
• Shall have at least two (2) years’ experience in system analysis and design and Java training or certification.
• Shall have at least one (1) year experience in system analysis and design in MINDEF / SAF Java EE projects.
• Prior experience with ServiceNow will be an added advantage.
