Job summary

MAVENSIDE CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled Bunker Surveyor to conduct end-to-end bunker quantity and quality surveys onboard ships and bunker tankers in Singapore.

You will prepare detailed BQS reports, manage discrepancies, ensure compliance with MPA regulations and international standards, and coordinate with shipping agents, bunker suppliers, and clients during on-site surveys. Must hold an active MPA Bunker Surveyor License and a marine-related diploma; field readiness and physical

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on bunker survey experience and a strong grasp of quantity/quality reporting.
• Diploma or higher in a marine-related discipline is required.
• Experience in bunker surveying or marine operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end bunker quantity and quality surveys onboard vessels and bunker tankers independently.
• Prepare, verify, and issue comprehensive BQS reports documenting findings, calculations, and data.
• Identify, investigate and report discrepancies or non-compliance, and provide recommendations to resolve disputes.
• Ensure all surveying operations comply with MPA regulations and international standards.
• Coordinate with Shipping Agents, Bunker Suppliers, and Clients onsite to facilitate surveys and turnarounds.
