Job summary

SJ Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to oversee project cost control and procurement processes in Singapore. The role involves managing tender activities, cost reporting and contract administration across pre-construction to post-construction stages.

The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, external consultants and clients, applying robust cost-management techniques and familiar with standard forms of contract.

Qualifications

• Recognized Degree in Quantity Surveying and relevant experience in construction.
• Experience in cost consultancy or contracts management is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pre- and post-contract duties and standard forms of contract.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Formulate procurement strategy, prepare tender documentation, cost reports and cost plans; administer tender process and evaluate tenders.
• Review variation orders, assess variation costs, and manage monthly financial reports, progress payments and final accounts.
• Provide cost and financial advice and contractual support across pre-construction, construction and post-construction stages.
