H Y Engineers PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites a mid-level Quantity Surveyor to join our project team.

You will manage costs, contracts, and commercial administration from tender to final account, ensuring budget control and contractual compliance across building and infrastructure projects. The role requires 3–6 years of QS experience, familiarity with SIA, NEC, and PSSCOC, and proficiency in cost estimation, tendering, and BQ preparation.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–6 years QS experience in Singapore construction; SISV/RICS preferred.
• Familiar with SIA, PSSCOC, NEC, and standard Singapore construction contracts.
• Proficient in MS Office, cost estimating software, and BQ preparation.
• Strong numerical accuracy, contract knowledge, and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, tender documents, bill of quantities (BQ), and cost plans
• Evaluate tenders, prepare tender reports, and recommend award decisions
• Monitor project budgets, progress payments, and interim valuations; control variations & claims
• Draft & administer construction contracts; manage subcontractor/supplier commercial matters
• Conduct final account settlement, cost analysis, and cash flow forecasting
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities on commercial & contractual issues
