Job summary

Kim Yew Integrated Pte Ltd is seeking a Building Maintenance Engineer to plan and execute facilities services at a west Singapore location. You will assist the Facilities Manager in managing all building works and ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Building/Real Estate/ Construction Management/ Engineering or its equivalent.
• Experience in Building Facilities Management or FM operations is preferred, with Singapore experience advantageous.
• Good knowledge of building works and proficiency in MS Office.

Job Descriptions

1. Plan and execute Building Maintenance Engineer related facilities services. Assist the Facilities Manager to manage all building related works. Manage the day-to-day maintenance and functional operations of assigned building/ estate.

2. In Charge of building services, system operations and the maintenance on-site. Conduct regular inspection of existing building and its services to ensure that all maintenance program are implemented effectively in strict compliance with guidelines.

3. To ensure all works carried out safely and / or in accordance with safety procedures. Ensure effective and safe operations of all Building Services' equipment and system with the team of technical officers and technicians.

4. Coordinate and supervise the building and maintenance work.Planning and scheduling of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance works.

5. Carrying out regular inspection and provide recommendation for improvement or rectification work if needed.Conducting regular inspection to ensure all maintenance program are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.

6. Perform troubleshooting and analyse faults and provide recommendation for sustainable and cost- effective solutions.

7. Working closely with the client, sub-contractors, and the project team to resolve any technical issues. Attend M&E related meetings and involve in the preparation of related reports.

8. Monitor work progress, drawings and other relevant documents related to building works. Involve in quotation and fault reports.

9. Assist in planning, controlling, and coordinating of mechanical, electrical, and building works. Schedule, monitor and supervise the progress of works. Prepare and following up closely on any query and quotations (standard schedule of rate and source for contractors and materials).

10. Assist in building rectification , renovation works etc. Supports day-to-day facilities operations and projects by supervising building services, managing building sub contractors and ensuring compliance with safety, quality standards . Able to lead a team of technicians to do PM, BM & A&A work.
    

Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma or Degree in Building / Real Estate/ Construction Management/ Engineering or its equivalent.

2. Building Facilities Management or related FM operations background with at least 3 years of Singapore relevant experience will be an added advantage.

3. Good knowledge of building works , Proficient in Microsoft Office application.

4. Good team player and communication skills.
