Job summary

ALLIED SEARCH PTE. LTD. is seeking a Building Engineer to oversee daily building and facilities operations in a safe, efficient environment. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, manage outsourced vendors, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

You will also assist with procurement, contract administration, and tenant communications, helping to maintain positive tenant relationships and support improvement projects. A min. Diploma in Building Management & Services is required.

Qualifications

• Min. Diploma qualification in Building Management & Services or equivalent.
• Diploma or higher in Building Management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily building and facilities operations to ensure a safe, smooth, and efficient environment.
• Coordinate regular inspections and coordinate maintenance and rectification works as required.
• Manage outsourced vendors for security, cleaning, landscaping, waste management, and maintenance services.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, M&E servicing, and tenant fit-out/reinstatement works.
• Ensure fire safety systems are maintained, organise fire drills, and support emergency preparedness initiatives.
• Manage booking and upkeep of common facilities while ensuring safety compliance.
• Prepare, track, and manage operational and capital expenditure budgets for cost control.
• Assist with procurement, contract administration, vendor coordination, and facilities documentation.
• Liaise with tenants, contractors, and authorities to resolve facilities issues and support improvement projects.
• Maintain positive tenant relationships by addressing feedback and providing after-hours assistance for emergencies.

As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Oversee daily building and facilities operations to ensure a safe, smooth, and efficient environment.
• Conduct regular inspections of building premises, common areas, and facilities, coordinating maintenance and rectification works when required.
• Manage and coordinate outsourced vendors covering security, cleaning, landscaping, waste management, and maintenance services.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, M&E servicing, as well as tenant fit-out and reinstatement works.
• Ensure fire safety systems are maintained in good working condition, organise fire drills, and support emergency preparedness initiatives.
• Manage the booking and upkeep of common facilities while ensuring adherence to operational and safety requirements.
