Job summary

Woh Hup Group in Singapore is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to oversee commercial building projects on-site. The role requires coordinating the site team, managing schedules, and ensuring quality workmanship.

You will monitor master construction programs, resolve technical issues, prepare method statements, and liaise with consultants to keep projects on track while maintaining strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
• 6 years of experience in building (commercial) projects; at least one full project cycle.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review master construction program and prepare catch-up plans if needed.
• Supervise engineers/foremen; ensure compliance to quality procedures and workmanship standards; check quality and quantity of subcontractor work.
• Prepare detailed site program for the team to follow and ensure timely completion.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies and technical difficulties with the Technical team.
• Prepare detailed method statements and work instructions for construction.
• Coordinate between subcontractors/vendors/ internal departments; monitor manpower/material/equipment demands to meet schedules.
• Liaise with Consultants on submissions related to structural works and Technical Department.
• Plan all on-site works, including program schedules, construction methods, and forecast equipment/materials; control usage and wastage.
• Adhere to safety practices on site.

Requirements:
