Job summary

OK ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks a capable construction site coordinator to plan work sequences and study project drawings to understand requirements.

You will liaise with consultants, clients, and sub-contractors, coordinating site activities and ensuring compliance with specifications and authoritiesa0drawings. The role requires 2–3 years in construction, a relevant engineering degree or diploma, and the ability to lead a team while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, or building services engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Executive role in BMS engineering (civil/construction/building services) is preferred.
• Class 3 driving licence is a plus; candidates without may still be considered.
• Self-driven and service-oriented with delivery focus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operations.
• Study tender drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, main/sub-contractors and coordinate site activities.
• Perform site inspections to ensure work aligns with project drawings and authorities’ approvals.
• Lead a team of supervisors/foremen for coordination with contractors and authorities.
• Plan and deploy resources: manpower, machinery, equipment and materials.
• Prepare progress reports, method statements and technical submissions.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and client specifications; uphold safety standards.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping at the highest level; perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• To study tender / construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements
• Liaise with consultants, client & main / sub-contractors and coordinate for site activities arrangement
• Perform site inspection and ensure that the work are carried out based on the project specification and construction drawing / final approved drawing from authorities
• Lead a team of supervisors / foreman for works coordination with main/sub-contractors and/or authorities and/or consultant on project progress and technical issues
• Planning and deployment of resources such as manpower, machinery, equipment and material
• Preparation of progress report, Method Statements and technical submissions
• Ensure the project complies with regulations and clients’ specifications
• Adhere to safety and health regulations and aim for zero accident in the workplace
• Ensure safety and housekeeping is to maintained to the highest standard
• To perform Ad-Hoc duties as per assigned

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Building Services Engineering, Project and Facilities Management or equivalent.
• Diploma holders with relevant work experience are welcome to apply
• At least 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in construction industry.
• Preferably Executive specialized in BMS Engineering - Civil/Construction/Building Services or equivalent
• Class 3 driving licence (Good to have), candidates will still be considered for the role without this pre-requisite
