Job summary

OK ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Construction Project Lead to plan and oversee site operations in Singapore. You will study drawings, coordinate with consultants, clients and subcontractors, and lead a team of supervisors to ensure progress and compliance with project specs.

The role emphasizes resource planning, progress reporting, safety compliance, and proactive problem solving on site.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of working experience in construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation.
• Study tender / construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, client & main / sub-contractors and coordinate for site activities arrangement.
• Perform site inspection and ensure that work is carried out per project specs and drawings.
• Lead a team of supervisors/foreman for coordination with contractors/authorities and consultants on project progress and technical issues.
• Plan and deploy resources such as manpower, machinery, equipment and material.
• Prepare progress reports, Method Statements and technical submissions.
• Ensure project complies with regulations and client specifications; uphold safety and housekeeping standards.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned.

• Perform site inspection and ensure that the work are carried out based on the project specification and construction drawing / final approved drawing from authorities
• Lead a team of supervisors / foreman for works coordination with main/sub-contractors and/or authorities and/or consultant on project progress and technical issues
• Planning and deployment of resources such as manpower, machinery, equipment and material
• Preparation of progress report, Method Statements and technical submissions
• Ensure the project complies with regulations and clients’ specifications
• Adhere to safety and health regulations and aim for zero accident in the workplace
• Ensure safety and housekeeping is to maintained to the highest standard
• To perform Ad-Hoc duties as per assigned

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Building Services Engineering, Project and Facilities Management or equivalent.
• Diploma holders with relevant work experience are welcome to apply
• At least 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in construction industry.
• Preferably Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Building Services or equivalent
• Class 3 driving licence (Good to have), candidates will still be considered for the role without this pre-requisite
