Job summary

Public Service Division seeks a Deputy/Assistant Manager, Bus Rapid Transit Development to support Singapore’s BRT for Tuas South. Lead technical workstreams on vehicles, infrastructure, stations and systems, coordinating with operators, consultants and agencies to deliver a safe, reliable and efficient BRT solution.

You will translate concepts into detailed requirements, assess options and guide testing, commissioning and transition into revenue service, ensuring project milestones and safety

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Knowledge in Engineering, Transport, Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience: At least 4 years in public transport, transport infrastructure, buses, rail, or major engineering projects.
• Technical Expertise: Experience in bus/rail systems, transport operations, automation or procurement is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and operational workstreams for BRT development and implementation.
• Assess vehicles, infrastructure, stations, systems, and testing requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across public transport operators, consultants and government agencies.
• Develop operating concepts, service requirements and project timelines.
• Prepare technical specifications, tender documentation and evaluation criteria.
