Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher Nitec with related service/engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with pneumatic and mechanical equipment.
• Experience in semiconductor/oil & gas/process industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned service orders from initiation through completion with Service, Logistics and other departments.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and internal stakeholders with updates on issues and schedules.
• Perform equipment commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and warranty repairs.
• Diagnose malfunctions, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency service requests to minimize downtime.
• Prepare and communicate technical findings and service reports clearly to customers and stakeholders.
• Participate in service-related projects and equipment enhancement initiatives.

Job Title: Assistant Field Service Engineer - Breathing Apparatus

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned service orders from initiation through completion, coordinating closely with Service, Logistics, and other relevant departments to ensure timely and accurate execution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, providing updates and support on technical issues, service requirements, equipment status, and delivery schedules.
• Perform equipment commissioning, contract maintenance, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, service documentation, and warranty repairs for assigned products and systems.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions to restore optimal performance.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency service requests, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing equipment downtime.
• Prepare and communicate technical findings, service reports, and recommendations clearly and professionally to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in service-related projects, equipment enhancement initiatives, emergency response activities, and other technical assignments to support business and customer needs.

Position Requirements:

Education Level:

• Diploma with 1-3 years' experience
• OR Higher Nitec in Electrical/Electronic/Process Instrumentation/Mechatronics Engineering with 5-6 years' experience

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in service or engineering roles within the Semiconductor, Oil & Gas, or Process industries.
• Hands-on experience with pneumatic and mechanical equipment.
