Job summary

SPH Media in Singapore is seeking a Web and Social Media Assistant Manager to develop and execute a social media strategy, draft content, and coordinate website updates. You will drive engagement, brand awareness, and user experience across social platforms and the corporate site.

The role requires 3–5 years in social media and web content, strong analytics, and proficiency with WordPress/Webflow. SEO, UX, and paid social experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
• Three - Five years of experience in social media management and web content administration.
• Strong understanding of social media algorithms, content strategies, and audience engagement.
• Proficiency with social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow).
• Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skill.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with overall brand and marketing goals.
• Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and community engagement across platforms (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube).
• Create, curate, and manage high-quality visual and written content tailored to each channel.
• Monitor trends, conversations, and competitors to optimise engagement and relevanacy.
• Track and report on KPIs such as engagement, reach, growth, and conversions.
• Collaborate with content creators, designers, and influencers as needed.
• Maintain and update website content, visuals, and functionality using CMS (e.g. WordPress).
• Draft content and updates for the SPH Media corporate website in alignment with our message house to build brand affinity.
• Ensure optimal SEO performance through regular audits and updates (metadata, keywords, internal linking, etc).
• Analyse web traffic and user behaviour using tools like Google Analytics.
• Work closely with design and development teams to improve UX/UI and overall website performance.
• Support landing page creation for campaigns, product launches, and lead generation.
