A leading media company in Singapore is seeking a passionate Brand & Digital Designer to join its Branding & Marketing team. This hands-on role involves designing creative campaign assets and developing brand collateral across various platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Graphic Design, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and front-end web development skills. Communication in both English and Mandarin is required, as the role supports Chinese brands.
The Chinese Media Group (CMG) is seeking a versatile Brand & Digital Designer to join its Branding & Marketing (B&M) team. The B&M section is responsible for co-developing and implementing respective CMG’s products brands strategies, as well as driving effective marketing and communication plans to create strong brand value; these include Lianhe Zaobao, Shin Min Daily News, ThinkChina, ZBSchools, HeyKaki, UFM100.3 and 96.3 Hao FM etc.
As a Brand & Digital Designer, you will be responsible for the creative direction, design and production of marketing campaign assets, microsites, and brand collaterals, ensuring brand consistency, strong creative impact, and effective digital performance across platforms.
This is a hands‑on role ideal for a designer who enjoys working across graphic design, digital design and front‑end web development. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work well independently as well as in a team.
You are expected to:
Design and produce creative assets for integrated campaigns across digital, print, social, and on‑ground channels.
Develop artwork for brand collaterals, including posters, brochures, banners, e‑newsletters (EDMs), digital ads, presentations, and internal materials.
Ensure all design outputs are accurate, on‑brand, and delivered on time.
Work closely with campaign managers and stakeholders to understand creative and technical requirements.
Manage multiple projects concurrently with good time management and prioritisation.
Maintain proper file management, version control, and asset organisation.
Prepare design files for premiums, gifts, event materials, and physical displays.
Liaise with stakeholders such as Procurement, Operations and external vendors for print and production specifications, artwork adaptations, and proofing.
Conduct basic print checks and ensure output meets quality standards.
Design and build campaign microsites, landing pages, and HTML e‑newsletters (EDMs).
Translate visual designs into clean, responsive front‑end code using HTML and CSS, with basic JavaScript where required.
Adapt and optimise designs for responsiveness, loading speed, usability, and deliverability, while ensuring cross‑browser and cross‑email client compatibility (e.g. Outlook, Gmail, mobile).
Collaborate with stakeholders on content structure, user journey, call‑to‑action placement, etc.
Test, debug, and refine digital outputs prior to deployment.
Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design / Visual Communications / Digital Media / Web Design, or a related field;
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in branding, marketing, digital design, or a creative agency environment (you will be required to submit a portfolio of your work demonstrating your design skills and creativity);
Possess excellent understanding of visual design principles, style guidelines, design processes, and best practices, as well as good understanding and practice of core graphic design principles;
Proficient in tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD; After Effects is a plus) and Figma;
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; basic JavaScript is an advantage;
Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive web design;
Proven experience in creating wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts;
Able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin as this role mainly supports Chinese brands and content output;
Able to think creatively to address design challenges and user needs effectively;
Able to work independently, as well as in a team to deliver under tight deadlines;
Kept abreast of developments in design trends, technologies, and consumer behaviors;
Detail‑oriented with a strong sense of visual quality and consistency;
Open to feedback and willing to learn and grow.
