Job summary

Jumbo Group of Restaurants in Singapore seeks an experienced Executive Chef to lead daily kitchen operations across outlets. You will ensure top-quality food, uphold HACCP standards, manage staff, and collaborate with Marketing on launches and branding.

You will oversee menu development, pricing, and cost control while driving culinary excellence and staff development. A strong leadership presence and dedication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant Executive Chef experience.
• Effective communication with team members to support kitchen operations and service standards.
• Knowledge of HACCP and health and safety standards is a plus.
• Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Dedicated and committed to role and team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations of the brand.
• Maintain top quality and consistency with strict food safety standards.
• Ensure proper maintenance of the kitchen within each outlet.
• Collaborate with Marketing on launches, promotions, branding, and labeling.
• Review sales and food costs daily to monitor financial results.
• Plan, direct and coordinate future outlet openings.
• Manage and groom the kitchen team to maximize manpower utilization.
• Participate in hiring for kitchen positions.
• Counsel staff and advise on disciplinary actions as needed.
• Drive culinary excellence and champion food quality and consistency.
• Develop standard recipes and SOPs for food prep and presentation.
• Contribute to menu development and pricing strategies.
• Understand current culinary trends and consumer needs.
• Ensure HACCP & 5S guidelines are followed.
• Handle other duties as assigned by Director of Kitchen Operations.
