The role requires directing governance, engaging with regulators, and leading board and committee discussions, with accountability for integrity, financial prudence, and stakeholder relations.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Director or senior governance role in MAS-regulated financial institutions.
• Deep knowledge of the Payment Services Act, AML/CFT, KYC/CDD.
• Experience with Board, risk and governance discussions.
• Ability to satisfy MAS Fit & Proper requirements, integrity and financial soundness.

Responsibilities

• Serve on the Board of Directors and influence strategic direction and long-term growth.
• Ensure compliance with the Payment Services Act, MAS regulations and governance requirements.
• Oversee enterprise risk management, AML/CFT, sanctions, fraud controls and governance processes.
• Review and approve policies, budgets, business plans and material transactions.
• Provide challenge and guidance to management on performance and regulatory matters.
• Engage with regulators, auditors and external stakeholders as required.
• Support a strong culture of compliance, integrity and governance.
• Participate in Board and committee meetings including risk, audit and compliance discussions.
