Job summary

Fintech Intel is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer to lead the compliance function, owning the framework across the business and ensuring adherence to the PSA and MAS obligations.

You will manage AML/CFT, sanctions, and fraud controls, engage with MAS for inspections and licence applications, and support regional expansion with regulatory assessments while reporting to the Board.

Qualifications

• Senior compliance experience in payments, e-money or fintech.
• Deep knowledge of the PSA and the Singapore regulatory environment.
• Experience in a senior regulated MAS role or support.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.

Our client is a well-backed payments business with a licensed presence in Singapore and ambitious regional growth plans. They're hiring a Chief Compliance Officer to lead compliance across the business.

The Role
You'll lead the compliance function, own the relationship with MAS and make sure the company's regulatory framework keeps pace with its growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the compliance strategy and framework across the business
• Ensure compliance with the Payment Services Act and MPI licence obligations
• Oversee AML/CFT, sanctions and fraud controls in line with MAS requirements
• Lead regulatory engagement with MAS, including inspections and new licence applications

What You’ll Bring

• Senior compliance experience in payments, e-money or fintech

• Experience holding or supporting a senior regulated role with MAS

• Regional APAC regulatory exposure is a plus

Benefits Package
