Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a Consumer Financing Product Lead to own the strategy and roadmap for Cashloan/BNPL products across markets from concept to launch and optimization. You will work with legal, compliance, engineering, design, marketing, and business teams to deliver scalable growth and robust user experiences.

You will analyze market trends and user data to drive monetization while partnering with risk and treasury to balance risk, cost, and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• 5+ years in product management, with a payments/BNPL/fintech background.
• Proven track record as a Product Owner/Lead, driving a product from 0 to scale.
• Strong commercial acumen with lending operations and risk understanding.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional influencing skills.
• Preferred: degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for Cashloan/BNPL products and drive execution with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and data to identify growth and monetization opportunities.
• Develop credit risk understanding and collaborate with risk and treasury to balance risk, cost, and growth.
• Lead design and integration with payment and funding partners for seamless user experiences.
• Take end-to-end ownership from product definition to launch and optimization of core outcomes.
• Partner with analytics to build KPIs and dashboards for continuous product improvement.
• Stay ahead of trends, regulations, and best practices to inform strategy.
