Job summary

L-QUBE PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant Project Engineer to support planning, execution and delivery of engineering projects at client sites, focusing on Building Management Systems (BMS) and A&A works.

You will bridge field execution and project management through site surveys, shop drawings, and subcontractor coordination, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with compliant documentation and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level diploma or diploma in mechanical/electrical/automation per the job.
• 1–3 years in engineering project execution, field service or A&A building works.
• Strong understanding of BMS/ELV systems and AHU/PLC/chiller controls.
• Able to read engineering drawings and schematics; proactive with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel island-wide to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and submit technical proposals, shop drawings and schedules.
• Conduct on-site surveys, track milestones and assist progress reporting.
• Coordinate A&A works ensuring regulatory compliance and client specs.
• Lead T&C activities with proper documentation and testing forms.
• Liaise with subcontractors/vendors to ensure scope alignment and PO handling.
• Diagnose issues during project execution and coordinate field support.
• Prepare field service reports and perform client training.
