Job summary

Sanofi Aventis Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Automation Engineer (BMS/EMS) for the Modulus program. You will design, implement and maintain BMS/EMS solutions, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance across the site.

You will lead CSV activities, support audits and collaborate with IT for cybersecurity. The role covers project lifecycle from design to handover and requires 3–5 years of relevant experience in a highly regulated pharma environment, based in Singapore.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Control, Electrical, Electronic, Chemical Engineering or related field.
Typically 3–5 years of relevant automation experience in regulated manufacturing.
Hands‑on experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS).
Experience supporting greenfield/brownfield projects and HVAC/black utility start‑ups.
Familiarity with cGMP, FDA/EMA audits and CSV lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, operate and lifecycle-manage automation solutions with focus on BMS/EMS.
Support computer system validation (CSV) activities and regulatory inspections.
Develop specifications, system architecture and project documentation.
Participate in FAT/SAT, qualification and handover of automation projects.
Collaborate with Digital/IT on cybersecurity and access control.
Provide technical guidance to operations and external vendors.
