Job summary

Sanofi is seeking an experienced Head of Engineering & Projects (Modulus) to lead the Engineering and Projects sub-function at the Tuas Modulus site. This role oversees Tier 3 capital projects, provides technical front-end input, and ensures compliance with GMP and FDA standards.

You will manage cross-functional teams, drive process improvements, and collaborate with global SMEs to uplift standards, practices, and safety across the site.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years in PM, C&Q and Process Engineering in biopharma/API manufacturing.
• Degree or Master in Engineering (Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial & Systems).
• Hands-on DeltaV automation, instrumentation, and equipment design experience.
• Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and mentorship capabilities.
• GxP experience and regulatory knowledge (GMP/FDA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Tier3 capital projects and funding for site.
• Provide feasibility input to site leadership and central functions.
• Provide process engineering technical support for Manufacturing.
• Contribute to Site Master Plan and Strategy.
• Manage project execution, contracts, spending, and progress tracking.
• Own end-to-end deliverables for Tier3 projects (design to C&Q).
• Advise on regulatory compliance across engineering activities.
• Collaborate with global SMEs to review standards and lessons learned.
• Implement process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Select and manage external contractors meeting HSE and Quality standards.
• Staff Site Engineering and Project teams; plan workforce.
• Coordinate T1 & T2 project integration and post-qualification handover.
• Lead and develop a team of engineering professionals.
