Job summary

Sanofi is seeking an Automation Engineer (BMS & EMS) for the Modulus program in Singapore. You will design, implement and operate automation solutions focusing on BMS and EMS within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

You will drive validation, lifecycle documentation and cybersecurity controls, and collaborate across Engineering, Quality and IT to ensure data integrity and regulatory readiness. This role requires 3–5 years in pharma automation and a strong GMP mindset.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in automation or related engineering.
3–5 years in pharma/regulated manufacturing automation.
Hands-on with BMS/EMS, preferably Schneider Electric.
Experience with greenfield/brownfield projects in validated environments.
Familiarity with cGMP, FDA/EMA/HSA inspections advantageous.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and manage automation solutions with focus on BMS and EMS.
Support CSV activities and maintain validation documentation.
Lead or participate in deviation investigations and CAPAs.
Collaborate with IT/digital teams to implement cybersecurity controls.
Support FAT/SAT, commissioning, qualification and handover of automation projects.
