Job summary

Frontiers is seeking a Lab Manager to lead and optimize our biotech lab operations in Singapore. You will supervise lab users, drive standardization, manage lab safety, and coordinate with biology and bioengineering teams to enable platform growth.

Ideal candidates have a strong track record in biotech lab facilities, OSHA/EH&S compliance, and ERP-enabled budgeting. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, long-term planning, and ensuring uninterrupted laboratory services.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.
• Proven track record managing laboratory facilities in Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industries.
• 5+ years experience in supply chain and lab management.
• Experience implementing and managing OSHA/EH&S and other environmental compliance programs.
• Experience with design, operation and maintenance of facilities and equipment in biotech.
• Experience receiving lab equipment, chemicals, biologics, and temperature-sensitive samples.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction, technical supervision, and support to lab users.
• Drive improvements in service, efficiency, and cost through standardization.
• Track performance across service, efficiency, and cost reductions.
• Establish business continuity plan including extended-hours coverage.
• Manage lab safety inspections and enforce safety policies.
• Oversee facilities vendor management and budgeting with finance.
