PARACRINE THERAPEUTICS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to drive operational excellence across R&D, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, supply chain, and corporate administration in Singapore.

The role partners with the CEO to scale the business, support fundraising, and prepare for commercialization and IPO readiness. You will lead cross-functional teams, implement scalable processes, and ensure governance while aligning with strategic objectives and investor expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or related discipline.
MBA or other postgraduate qualification preferred.
Minimum 15 years of leadership experience, including at least 8 years in senior management within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, or life sciences industries.
Experience scaling high-growth biotechnology companies preferred.
Fluency in Chinese and English is required; Mandarin for communication with stakeholders and teams in China.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CEO to develop and execute the Company's strategic and operational plans.
Translate corporate strategy into measurable operational objectives.
Lead organizational planning and performance management across all business functions.
Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
Operations Management: Oversee daily operations including R&D, manufacturing, QA/QC, regulatory, supply chain, IT, and HR/Administration.
Establish scalable operational processes and governance frameworks.
Ensure cross-functional collaboration and efficient resource allocation.
Financial & Business Management: Work with CFO on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and cost optimization.
Support commercialization strategy, partnerships, licensing, and business development.
Fundraising & Investor Relations: Support fundraising activities, coordinate data rooms and investor updates.
Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure GMP, GCP, GLP, ISO standards compliance and governance.
Leadership & Culture: Build and develop a high-performing leadership team, drive accountability and innovation.
