Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive operational leadership experience including 5+ years in a senior operations/COO role.
• Proven track record scaling operations in tech/fintech/professional services/SaaS environments.
• Experience leading large, distributed, multi-country teams and building high-performing cultures.
• Commercially astute with hands-on P&L ownership and focus on margins.
• Experience driving process automation and AI adoption to improve efficiency and quality.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, including at board level.

Responsibilities

• Translate company strategy into clear operational plans, KPIs, and quarterly objectives across markets.
• Lead and scale the global operations function, including accounting, corporate services, onboarding, and support.
• Drive operational excellence by optimizing processes, SLAs, turnaround times, and quality while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to automate workflows and embed AI into service delivery.
• Own operational P&L; manage capacity planning, resourcing, and unit economics to improve margins.
• Build and mentor a high-performance, distributed leadership team across multiple countries.
• Establish data-driven decision making with robust reporting and metrics.
• Lead market expansion planning and collaboration with CEO/board for fundraising and strategy.
