Job summary

HWA SENG BUILDER PTE LTD is seeking a dedicated BIM Technician to join their innovative team in Singapore. This role involves constructing 3D BIM models, collaborating closely with project teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.

The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering and preferably possess a Specialist Diploma in BIM. The position offers growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Possess a Diploma in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Preferably have a Specialist Diploma in BIM or relevant certification.
• Experience with 1-2 years on construction projects in Singapore is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct 3D BIM models and collaborate with project teams.
• Produce civil and architectural model drawings.
• Provide BIM modeling and CAD support.
• Manage BIM models and create Revit families.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Review work for accuracy and completeness.

Job Responsibilities:

• Construct 3D BIM models and work closely with project teams on drawing amendments and updates.
• Produce civil and architectural 3D model drawings, design works and calculations.
• Provide BIM modeling/CAD drafting and design support.
• Coordinate and manage BIM model, create Revit families and CAD blocks.
• Obtain work assignments of either specific design elements or CAD drafting from project managers and engineers.
• Ensure the completion of BIM projects in accordance to project requirements and in compliance with authorities’ guidelines.
• Review all work for completeness and accuracy.
• Manage workflows, processes and implementation of BIM projects.
• Knowledge in BIM responsibilities
• Maintain and perform document control
• Any other responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
• Preferable with Specialist Diploma in BIM or relevant BIM certification
• Proficient in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and related tools, with strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with BIM processes and submission standards
• Preferably with 1–2 years of relevant experience in construction projects in Singapore; entry-level candidates with a strong interest in building a career in the Built Environment sector are also welcome to apply.
