Job summary

AWP is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead BIM strategy, standards, and coordination across Singapore and the region. You will drive digital workflows, model management, and quality control for multi-disciplinary projects.

The role requires 8+ years in BIM, strong Revit skills, and familiarity with ISO19650, CDEs, and BEPs. Regional projects demand leadership, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced design environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture, engineering, construction, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of professional BIM experience in architecture, engineering, or multidisciplinary design practice.
• Strong proficiency in Revit; experience with Rhino, Grasshopper, Navisworks, or Dynamo is an advantage.
• Proven experience developing and implementing BIM standards, workflows, templates, and protocols across projects.
• Strong understanding of BIM methodologies, ISO19650, information management, and digital delivery processes.
• Experience managing BIM coordination across multiple disciplines, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Ability to establish and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BETs), model standards, naming conventions, and QA procedures.
• Strong understanding of model coordination, clash detection, model auditing, data management, and CDEs.
• Experience supporting project teams from concept design through construction and delivery.
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills, with the ability to train and mentor architects and designers in BIM workflows.
• Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach to digital design and project delivery.
• Experience working on large-scale or complex projects in Singapore and/or Southeast Asia is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with local BIM requirements, Corenet X – IFC drawings and submission standards in Singapore would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM implementation, standards, modelling workflow and methodologies.
• Prepare the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) as per project requirements.
• Monitor BIM modelling and update BIM models consistently.
• Ensure healthy BIM database and deliver visual (VDC) outputs for design/construction.
• Generate walkthrough animations and conduct clash detection using Navisworks or similar.
• Coordinate with design consultants to ensure BIM models meet design requirements.
• Review all work for completeness and accuracy.
• Assign BIM resources per project requirements.
• Provide BIM training and guidance to staff.
• Collaborate with project teams across disciplines to ensure integration.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing BIM strategies, coordinating digital workflows, and supporting project teams in delivering high-quality, innovative architectural solutions.

Key Requirements

Specific Responsibility, Accountability & Authority:

1.Responsible to the Project Architect and will liaise with the Senior Project Executive, BIM Coordinator and Technicians.

2.Lead the entire team in BIM implementation, standards, modelling workflow and methodologies.

3.Prepare the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) as per project requirements.

4.Monitor BIM modelling and update BIM models consistently.

5.Accurate model management and administration ensuring a healthy BIM database, manage and deliver appropriate visual (VDC) to support design/construction works.

6.Generate walkthrough animation VR for visual checking. Conduct clash detection using Navisworks or any other software.

7.Collaborate and coordinate with the design consultant teams to ensure all BIM models are in order as per design requirements.

8.Review all work for completeness and accuracy.

9.Assign BIM resources as per project requirements.

10.Provide BIM training and guidance to all staff.
