Job summary

NATSTEEL HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Civil/Structural BIM detailer to prepare rebar detailing in 3D models, generating BBS and reinforcement drawings in line with design codes and project requirements.

You will liaise with customers to understand requirements, plan schedules, and coordinate with Sales, Production and Technical teams to ensure on-time delivery. Fresh graduates welcome; proficiency in Revit, Tekla and AutoCAD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil/structural engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with rebar detailing, shop drawings and BBS is required.
• RC design understanding and site rebar installation knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit, Tekla and AutoCAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Prepare rebar detailing in 3D BIM models in accordance with design codes, project requirements, machine capabilities, and site requirements, with the output of bar bending schedules (BBS) and reinforcement placement drawings.


• Communicate with customers to understand project requirements and confirm schedules.


• Plan and prepare work schedules in advance to meet project deadlines.


• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including the Sales, Production, and Technical teams, to ensure project requirements are delivered on time.


• Assist in improving work processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and save time.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil structure engineering or its equivalent


• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply


• Experience in rebar detailing, shop drawings, and bar bending schedules (BBS) is required.


• Understanding of RC design and site rebar installation methods is an advantage.


• Proficiency in Revit, Tekla, and AutoCAD is preferred.


• Strong initiative with the ability to work effectively independently or collaboratively in a team environment.


• Demonstrated track record of delivering accurate, error-free work under tight deadlines.
