YONG LEE PLUMBING&SANITARY PTE. LTD. is seeking a BIM Engineer to develop and maintain 3D BIM models for plumbing, sanitary, and drainage systems using Revit. You will prepare shop/drawing sets and coordinate with architectural, structural, and M&E teams to resolve clashes.

The role requires reading drawings, coordinating with contractors, and updating models with design changes. Willingness to visit sites and handle multiple projects is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Proficient in BIM modelling for plumbing, sanitary and drainage systems.
• Able to read and interpret architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
• BIM certification is a plus and able to work independently on multiple projects.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for plumbing, sanitary and drainage systems using Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, sectional details and as-built drawings based on BIM models.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural and other M&E disciplines to carry out clash detection and resolve clashes.
• Attend BIM coordination meetings with main contractors, consultants and other trades.
• Update models/drawings according to design changes, site conditions and consultants' comments.
• Prepare models/drawings for prefabricated components when required.
• Extract quantities from BIM models to support take-offs and material ordering.
• Assist in preparing drawings for authority submissions (e.g. PUB) where required.
• Ensure models/drawings comply with BIM requirements, standards and codes of practice.
• Manage drawing files, model files and revision records.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for plumbing, sanitary and drainage systems using Autodesk Revit
• Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, sectional details and as-built drawings based on BIM models
• Coordinate with architectural, structural and other M&E disciplines to carry out clash detection and resolve clashes
• Attend BIM coordination meetings with main contractors, consultants and other trades
• Update models and drawings according to design changes, site conditions and consultants' comments
• Prepare models and drawings for prefabricated components such as Prefabricated Bathroom Units (PBU) and prefabricated pipe modules, where required
• Extract quantities from BIM models to support quantity take-off and material ordering
• Assist in preparing drawings for authority submissions (e.g. PUB) where required
• Ensure models and drawings comply with project BIM requirements, company standards and relevant codes of practice
• Manage drawing files, model files and revision records
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Min. 2–5 years of BIM modelling experience, preferably in plumbing & sanitary or M&E works
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; knowledge of Navisworks will be an advantage
• Basic understanding of plumbing, sanitary and drainage systems and installation methods
• Able to read and interpret architectural, structural and M&E drawings
• BIM-related certification will be an advantage
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects
• Willing to visit project sites when required
• Good communication and teamwork skills
