Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a BIM drafter with 1 year of MEP experience to produce and update Revit-based drawings for electrical and plumbing systems. You will coordinate model updates, perform clash checks, and deliver accurate shop drawings on schedule.

The role requires ability to interpret drawings, work independently, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment. HDB/condo drafting experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in relevant discipline.
• Minimum 1 year BIM drafter experience in Singapore construction.
• Proficient in BIM/Revit MEP/AutoCAD/Microsoft Office.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and models.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• MEP drafter experience in Electrical/Plumbing/Sanitary is preferred.
• HDB/Condominium drafting experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Produce shop drawings and as-built drawings from BIM model using Revit.
• Create and manage Revit project file for Electrical & Plumbing systems.
• Update and coordinate Revit model throughout the project (Slab pipe routings, underground pipe routings, tray/trunking routings, lighting and power locations).
• Perform interference/clash checking within own model and with other disciplines.
• Deliver accurate drawings on time.
• Assist Project Manager on project completion or ad-hoc tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Produce shop drawings and as-built drawings from BIM model using Revit
• Create and manage Revit project file for the Electrical & Plumbing systems
• Update and coordinate Revit model throughout the project (e.g. Slab pipe routings, underground pipe routings, tray/trunking routings, lightning protection and lighting & power points location)
• Perform interference/clash checking within own model and against other disciplines
• Deliver accurate drawings on time
• Perform any other drafter related tasks assigned by superior
• Assist Project Manager on the completion of projects/ad-hoc assignments if required

About you

• Diploma or Degree in relevant discipline
• Minimum 1 year working experience as M&E BIM drafter in Singapore construction
• Proficient in BIM/Revit MEP/AutoCAD/Microsoft Office
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and models
• Able to work in a fast pace environment and handle tight deadlines
• Independent, resourceful, self-motivated, hard-working and able to work as a team
• MEP drafter experience (Electrical/Plumbing/Sanitary)
• HDB/Condominium projects drafting experience is an advantage
