Job summary

SsangYong Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd seeks a skilled BIM/M&E Modeler in Singapore to develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for M&E systems using Revit and related software.

You will prepare detailed models from drawings and project specs, coordinating with architectural, civil and structural teams on large-scale builds. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Degree in Building Services and have 2–4 years of M&E modelling experience with Revit MEP, Navisworks and AutoCAD proficiency,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Building Services, BIM, CAD or related.

• Minimum 2–4 years of M&E modelling/BIM experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP is required.
• Experience with large-scale building projects is preferred.
• Experience in hospital, healthcare, institutional or complex building projects will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Navisworks or other BIM coordination software.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and BIM documentation standards.
• Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings, specs and documents.
• Strong coordination and multidisciplinary model integration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for M&E systems using Revit and other BIM software.
• Prepare detailed M&E models based on design drawings, specs, shop drawings and project requirements.
• Model ACMV/HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, plumbing, sanitary and fire protection systems.
• Model electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, containment, ELV and other building services.
• Coordinate M&E models with architectural, civil & structural and other specialist models.
• Perform BIM coordination and clash detection to identify conflicts between M&E and other disciplines.
• Assist M&E Engineers in resolving design and modelling issues identified during coordination.
• Update BIM models based on approved design changes, site conditions and construction information.
• Prepare M&E shop drawings, coordination drawings, sections, details and layouts from BIM models.
• Ensure BIM models comply with project BIM standards and naming conventions.
• Coordinate with M&E engineers, consultants, subcontractors and other BIM team members.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and follow up on modelling and clash-resolution requirements.
• Assist in preparing coordinated drawings for construction and site installation.
• Maintain model accuracy and updates following design revisions.
• Assist with quantity take-offs and extraction of information from BIM models.
• Incorporate approved RFIs, technical changes and site instructions into BIM models.
• Assist in developing as-built BIM models based on site installation and records.
• Maintain records of model revisions, submissions and coordination information.
• Support testing, commissioning, completion and handover with accurate BIM information.
• Perform other BIM and modelling duties assigned by BIM Manager or M&E Design Manager.

• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant M&E modelling/BIM experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP is required.
• Experience with large-scale building projects is preferred.

• Good understanding of M&E building services and construction practices.
