Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an Electrical BIM designer to prepare installation details and shop drawings. You will design and modify electrical circuits, routing, lighting fixtures, and develop BIM-based visuals for coordination with clients.

Role requires reading electrical drawings, creating 2D/3D BIM views, and configuring BIM files. You will collaborate with project teams on site and contribute to material estimates.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Autodesk REVIT and AutoCAD for electrical BIM tasks.
• Ability to read and visualise electrical systems and equipment drawings.
• Capable of creating and modifying electrical circuits from specifications.
• Experience with cable containment routing per project specs.
• Create 2D and 3D electrical views from BIM models.
• Set up configurations for electrical model files.

Responsibilities

• Prepare installation details, shop drawings layout and submission list.
• Design, create and modify electrical circuits, cable containment routing, lighting fixtures.
• Create lighting switch, distribution board families and component library.
• Create risers / electrical / LAN / M&E Room layouts and details.
• Attend site coordination meetings with customers/clients.
• Perform clash report and resolve clashes with Project Engineer/Customer.
• Verify and validate designs with minimal clashes and adequate maintenance space.
• Prepare visualization and walkthroughs for critical/congested areas if needed.
• CSD and Roombook coordination.
• Generate bills of quantity for required materials.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare installation details, shop drawing layout and submission list
• Design, create and modify electrical circuits, cable containment routing, lighting fixtures
• Create and generate lighting switch, distribution board families and component library
• Create risers / electrical / LAN / M&E Room etc, layout detail
• Attend site coordination meeting with customers / clients
• Perform clash report and solving the clasher with Project Engineer/Customer
• Verify and validate Design with zero clasher and adequate maintenance space
• Prepare visualization and walk through critical/Congested areas if necessary
• CSD and Roombook Coordination
• Generate bills of quantity for material required when necessary
• Any other required task from Main Contractor / Consultant / Client

Requirements

• Knowledge of Autodesk REVIT and AutoCAD
