Job summary

DLM Pte Ltd is seeking an Electrical BIM Modeler to create, modify and maintain electrical designs and 3D BIM models across multiple projects. You will ensure drawings and specifications align with project requirements and help visualize building services using BIM tools.

You will collaborate with engineers, consultants, and project managers to coordinate electrical systems, perform clash detection, and produce coordinated drawings such as lighting layouts, power distribution, and ELV scopes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Electrical BIM Modeling or Electrical Engineering drafting.
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Good understanding of building electrical systems, including power, lighting, fire alarm, security, communication, and ELV systems.
• Knowledge of construction processes and BIM coordination practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve clashes within BIM models.
• Familiarity with BIM standards, submission requirements, and industry best practices.
• Able to work independently and productively with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise electrical BIM models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Regularly update models based on design changes, site conditions, and project feedback.
• Use BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit) to prepare electrical services drawings, coordination drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Produce detailed design documentation to support various project phases.
• Coordinate electrical services with architectural, structural, ACMV, plumbing, and other building services disciplines.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist Project Engineers and Managers throughout different stages of the project lifecycle.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and assist in resolving design conflicts and clashes.
• Ensure electrical systems are properly integrated within the overall building model.

Job Responsibilities
