Job summary

RRECRUITER PTE. LTD. is seeking an Electrical BIM Engineer to develop and manage BIM models for electrical systems at Tagore Lane project sites in Singapore. The role requires advanced Revit/AutoCAD skills and the ability to produce 2D drawings and 3D walkthroughs.

You will coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and clients to resolve clashes and deliver accurate material BOQs. This is a full‑time site‑based position with a 5.5‑day work week.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and visualize electrical layouts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and manage electrical BIM models, including circuit designs, cable containment routes, lighting layouts, and riser/M&E room details.
• Build custom BIM component libraries and parametric families (e.g., lighting switches, distribution boards, LAN systems).
• Extract 2D shop drawings, installation details, CSDs, Roombooks, and BOQs from the 3D model.
• Run clash detection reports and resolve design conflicts with project engineers and clients.
• Generate 3D visual walkthroughs for site areas to streamline coordination.
• Attend site meetings and fulfill additional modeling or drafting requirements.

Salary Package: Basic + AWS + Bonus

Working days: 5.5 days

Location: Tagore Lane, project sites

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and manage electrical BIM models, including circuit designs, cable containment routes, lighting layouts, and riser/M&E room details.

• Build custom BIM component libraries and parametric families (e.g., lighting switches, distribution boards, LAN systems).

• Extract 2D shop drawings, installation details, CSDs, Roombooks, and material Bills of Quantities (BOQs) directly from the 3D model.

• Run clash detection reports and resolve design conflicts with project engineers, consultants, and clients to achieve a zero-clash model with required maintenance clearances.

• Generate 3D visual walkthroughs for critical or congested site areas to streamline coordination.

• Attend site meetings and fulfill additional modeling or drafting requirements from the main contractor and client.

Candidate Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, including model file setup and configuration.

• Strong ability to read, interpret, and visualize complex electrical schematics and equipment layouts.

• Practical knowledge of electrical circuit design principles, cable containment routing, and technical specifications.

• Skilled in creating clean 2D drawings and 3D views directly from BIM environments.
