Job summary

MEINHARDT GEOTECHNICAL PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced BIM Specialist to develop BIM models, coordinate with the team and produce construction drawings using BIM platforms.

The role requires strong attention to drafting standards and client-aligned deliverables. You will work closely with project leaders to ensure BIM models meet project protocols, facilitate clash resolution, and produce submittal packages as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience producing project deliverables using BIM processes.
• Capable to communicate internally among team members and coordinate tasks.
• Develop BIM models in compliance with project standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop BIM models based on project protocols and client expectations.
• Coordinate tasks with team members and resolve issues under Engineers guidance.
• Prepare and coordinate working construction drawings and submittal packages using BIM platforms.
• Produce Revit models from notes/sketches and maintain drafting standards for projects.

Job description

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering (PreferablyStructuralbackground)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in producing project deliverables usingBIMprocess
• Capable in Autodesk Revit or other BIM software
• Knowledgeable in other relevant AEC software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, Design Review, etc.
• Working closely with the Team Leader to develop BIM Model based on project protocols and client expectation
• Capable to communicate internally among the team members and coordinate task and issues to keep up team working
• Facilitate clash resolution process in terms of modelling and adjustment under Engineers guidance
• Develop BIM model in compliance with Office and project standards to keep models up-and-running
• Help prepare and coordinate working construction drawings like plans, sections and details with using BIM Platform
• Produce Revit model from notes/sketches and able to maintain drafting standards for projects.
• Create drawing submittal packages in appropriate size as required.
• Works closely with project managers and other disciplines to plan and prepare construction drawings and provide support as necessary.
• Provide support to the project team in duties related to BIM
• Performs other related duties as assigned/required and appropriate to this position.

Job requirements:

Technical Knowledge

• Reading Building Drawing
• Production process knowledge in Structural discipline
• Having knowledge in standards (ISO, PAS, NBIM US, BSI) and project documents such as BEP, Clash Matrix, will be considered as advantage
