Job summary

SHUN YI CHENG CONTRACT ENGINEERING PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a BIM Draughtsperson to develop and annotate drawings from 3D models for tender and construction. You will maintain BIM standards, update models, and deliver visuals and shop drawings to support on-site works.

Applicants should have at least a Diploma or Specialist Diploma in relevant fields; Bachelor’s in QS/Architectural Draftsmanship; plus certificates in BIM Revit.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in civil/building construction or related field.
• Relevant BIM qualifications or certificates preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ BIM-related experience and 3 years with Revit.

Job Description

• Develop plan, elevation, section, and detail drawings from the models with adequate detail and proper annotation for tender and construction.
• Develop and maintain office BIM standards and procedures for sheet layout, layering, modelling processes and drawing formats.
• Create and update BIM models based on BIM guidelines and requirement provided
• Deliver appropriate visuals and shop drawings to support construction works
• Ensure proper documentation based on project BIM workflow
• Assist in BIM Coordination and attend site meeting or conduct site verification whenever required
• Familiar with BIM documentations and shop drawings directly from the models
• Creation of 2D families
• Ensure that BIM models are delivered with professionalism (Quality, due diligence and timeliness)

Requirements

1. Diploma in Civil & Building Construction
2. Specialist Diploma in Architectural Technology
3. Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying & Architectural Draftsmanship

• Applicant should possess at least one of the above qualifications

1. Certificate in BIM Revit for Architecture (Level 1 / 2)
2. Certificate of Competency (COC) in Architectural BIM
3. Certificate of Competency (COC) in Building Information Modelling

• Above additional qualification is not mandatory but will be a plus
• Work experience in related fields preferably in Architecture: minimum 2 years working with BIM related software or BIM modelling works and 3 years in Revit model
• Able to work independently and understand basic, modelling, dimensioning etc.
• Possesses good interpersonal skills for BIM coordination and collaborative processes.
• English Language Proficiency (Written/Oral)
• Proficiency in software skills such as Latest AutoCAD, MS Office, Autodesk Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Acrobat required
