Job summary

SUNRAY WOODCRAFT CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD invites a BIM Coordinator to support the BIM Manager in developing company standards, guides and BIM contents for overall BIM development. You will assist in BIM authoring trainings and ensure model quality for integration across consultants and contractors.

The role emphasizes coordinating Virtual Design and Construction for BIM-enabled project management, ensuring timely, professional BIM outputs and tender data support.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Architecture or Engineering (preferred).
• BCA Specialist Diploma for BIM.
• Certificate from BCA BIM modelling course or equivalent.
• 3 years professional related experience in building construction and project execution.
• Demonstrated good written communication skills in respect to BIM co-ordination and project management.
• Ability to report to middle management on operational deliverables and guide production team members to meet deliverables.
• Ability to assist in preparing BIM models to align expectations of deliverables as stipulated in BEP.
• Must be proficient in BIM troubleshooting skills on operational level.
• Demonstrates ability to follow VDC Process and adapt new workflows.
• Highly experienced in BIM authoring to guide team of BIM modellers.

Responsibilities

• Assist BIM Manager in developing company standards, guides and BIM contents for overall BIM development
• Carry out BIM authoring trainings to modeller and drafting team according to agreed training schedules
• Ensure BIM Modeller establish a level of proficiency in carrying out the production needs of the project and organization
• Facilitate as assistant to BIM Manager for Virtual Design and Construction co-ordination for BIM implemented project management
• Check and ensure that models prepared by consultants, main contractors and subcontractors are acceptable with minimum rework for federated integration and coordination
• Assist Project Manager in obtaining relevant information for BIM assisted tender proposals and submissions
• Ensure that BIM Modeller deliver the BIM assisted project with professionalism (Quality, due diligence and timeliness)
• Prepare models for Clash Detection Co-ordination
• Prepare issues identified for BIM Manager to raise up to Project Manager for their onward RFI procedures
• Obtain raw data from clash detection and reports for BIM Manager to consolidate into measurable metrics

Education

Degree / Diploma in Architecture or Engineering (preferred)

BCA Specialist Diploma for BIM

Certificate from BCA BIM modelling course or equivalent

3 years professional related experience in building construction and project execution

Written communication skills for BIM coordination and project management

Ability to report to middle management on deliverables

Ability to prepare BIM models to align BEP deliverables

Proficient in BIM troubleshooting at an operational level

Follow VDC Process and adapt new workflows

Experience in BIM authoring to guide a team
