Job summary

Sembcorp Industries Ltd invites a BIM Coordinator to join its design and construction teams in Singapore. The role focuses on coordinating BIM processes, enforcing standards, and managing the BIM Execution Plan to deliver consistent project information.

You will create 3D models and 2D drawings, run clash detections, generate reports, and prepare documentation for authorities. Singaporean candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher Nitec in any discipline, preferably with consultancy design and/or construction background.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Good interpersonal skills for BIM coordination and collaborative processes.
• Interest in BIM software and model creation.
• Knowledge of Electrical BIM Design exposure.
• Singaporean only.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and model coordination meetings and review sessions when required.
• Enforce BIM strategies, processes and standards, model content and quality control for the discipline/assigned scope of works.
• Implement and manage BIM Execution Plan
• Create 3D model content and modelling using specified tools and/or prepare 2D drawings in AutoCAD as relevant or required
• Generate clash detection reports and other BIM reports from 3D models
• Develop documentation for submission to Authorities including BIM e-submission
• Archive 3D models, prepare user handover and related documentation
• Produce drawings from 3D models and distribute drawings to relevant users per procedures
• Coordinate with project/construction teams on submissions, updates or changes, checking clashes with other disciplines
• Any other duties assigned from time to time

Responsibilities:

• Participate in design and model coordination meetings and review sessions when required

• Creation of 3D model content and modelling using specified tools and/or prepare 2D drawings in AutoCAD as relevant or required

• Archival of 3D models, prepare user handover and related documentation
• Drawing production from 3D models and administer 3D models/drawings distribution to relevant users in compliance with stipulated procedures
• Coordinate and liaise with project/construction team on submissions, updates or changes, and checking for clashes with other disciplines
• Any other duties assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Higher Nitecfrom any discipline, preferably with training / background in consultancy design and / or construction works.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Possesses good interpersonal skills for BIM coordination and collaborative processes.
• Interest in working using software and technologies and BIM model creation.
• Has knowledge of exposure on Electrical BIM Design
