Job summary

LEIGHTON CONTRACTORS (ASIA) LIMITED (SINGAPORE BRANCH) seeks a BIM Coordinator to advance execution in line with the BIM Execution Plan. The role involves leading BIM coordination across design and construction, supervising a Revit Specialist, and ensuring standardised workflows and document control.

You will support project standards, assist in modelling and detailing, and ensure coordinated digital delivery to the project team. A Diploma in engineering and multiple years in BIM are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Construction, Design, Drafting and Coordination (services).
• 2+ years BIM Coordination or BIM Management in a Design/Engineering/Construction firm.

Responsibilities

• Assist BIM implementation to the BIM Execution plan.
• Create and maintain software template files to ensure standards.
• Provide support for plotting and electronic file submissions.
• Assist in automating BIM routines to support standards and productivity.
• Assist in QC for completeness and adherence to company standards of all shop drawings.
• Assist in developing and enforcing BIM Documentation and workflow standards.
• Assist in training and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Revit Specialist to ensure BIM standards are maintained in Revit modeling.
• Support Project Standards Coordination with stakeholders.
• Assist on project work – modelling and detailing.
• Distribute coordinated digital documents to the project team.
• Link BIM to Project Construction Administration phase for submissions, shop drawings and modules.
• Any other duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Duties

• Support Project Standards Coordination with Stakeholders
• Assist on project work - modelling and detailing
• Assist in Managing and distributing coordinated digital documents to the project team
• Assist in linking BIM to Project Construction Administration Phase for Submission, shop drawing and modules
• Any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or building services engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Construction, Design, Drafting and Coordination (services)
• At least 2 year of BIM Coordination or BIM Management Experience in a Design, Engineering or Construction firm.
