Job summary

StarHub is seeking a Billing Operations professional to lead automation discussions and drive continuous process improvements around billing inquiries and disputes in Singapore.

You will train and guide team members, coordinate with offshore delivery centers and internal/external partners, and review policies to stay current with regulations and best practices. Strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting.
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in billing function.
• Resolves issues with consideration of business and systems constraints vs accounting requirements.
• Demonstrates emotional resilience under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good oral and written communication.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in shared services management or Telco industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive discussion in automation initiatives and continuous process improvement.
• Provide training, support, and guidance to team members.
• Liaise with offshore delivery center and collaborate with internal/external partners on operations; may involve data analysis.
• Review policies and procedures to align with regulations and best practices.
• Ensure completeness and verification of bills on a timely, accurate basis.
• Analyze application forms and prepare/verify data for billing and adjustments.
• Maintain financial integrity of billing systems.
• Monitor service delivery KPIs and report issues, using SLA as anchor; perform quality reviews.
• Scope and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for Billing System(s).
• Support ad hoc Billing Operations duties as assigned.
