Responsibilities
- Perform User Acceptance testing (UAT) for Billing Consumer Services or Products: understand requirements, plan test scenarios, execute in testing environment, ensure UAT completed within schedule, document results, conduct briefing, and handover to the operations team.
- Liaise with stakeholders (Product managers, marketing, engineering, IS) to finalize billing requirements and educate business users on processes and requirements.
- Prepare test plans, define acceptance criteria, and design test cases.
- Conduct UAT, record and report defects, and see through defect closure.
- Document testing results and update reference documents on time.
- Monitor testing progress and provide regular, timely feedback to managers.
- Prepare briefing materials and conduct briefing to the operations team prior to launch of new initiatives to ensure smooth handover. Provide support to users on production enquiries and issues after implementation.
- Ensure system enhancements and schemes are supported with proper processes and controls to maintain billing quality and integrity.
- Coordinate with and manage the vendor (TMO outsource team).
Process Improvement
- Review processes, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Support digital transformation by participating in digitisation projects and automating work processes using RPA, Power Automate, Python, Macro, etc.
Customer Support
- Be an SME on billing matters and provide support to business users and customer care.
- Investigate irregularities detected and resolve operational issues, escalating feedback to the manager or director as necessary.
Training
- Provide comprehensive training to team members and reporting staff for succession planning and backup.
Qualifications
- Diploma holder preferably in a computing discipline.
- At least 2 years of working experience in UAT.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and meticulous.
- Good problem‑solving skills.
- Proactive and a team player.
