Job summary

Google LLC in Singapore is hiring a Content Partner Engineer for YouTube (Japanese, English). You will work with APAC partners to optimize integrations, drive new opportunities, and develop scalable solutions that protect and monetize partner content on YouTube.

You will lead cross‑functional initiatives with product, engineering, and partnerships teams, negotiate technical engagements, prototype innovations, and translate partner feedback into product improvements while leveraging data analysis

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of programming experience in one or more languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python) and SQL.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues for partners or customers.
• Proficient communication skills in Japanese and English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert alongside Business Development to negotiate agreements, support stakeholders across APAC markets including Japan, and guarantee successful integration through documentation and guidance.
• Identify and optimize new business opportunities by leveraging YouTube technologies through prototyping, innovation, and implementation reviews.
• Incubate innovative product solutions and advocate for feature requests and internal tools, resolving complex technical challenges for partners.
• Translate partner feedback into actionable product improvements by collaborating closely with internal Engineering and Product Management teams.
• Apply strong project management and data analysis skills to extract business insights, exploring AI use cases to drive efficiencies and reduce costs.
