Job summary

The Perse School Singapore seeks a passionate CEB Primary School Teacher to join our expanding team from Jan 2027. The role involves delivering engaging English and bilingual lessons, co-curricular activities, and fostering a love of learning in an inclusive international community.

The successful candidate will have at least four years of international school teaching, a Bachelor or Master in Education, and a professional teaching qualification.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of teaching experience, ideally in an international school environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education with a Professional Teaching Qualification (e.g., PGDE, PGCE, PGCEi, NIE Diploma) or a valid Teacher License/QTS.
• Desirable - experience teaching the Cambridge International Curriculum.
• Experience with learners who have English as an Additional Language (EAL) and strategies to support language acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Has experience teaching English and other Primary subjects within a bilingual or dual-language programme.
• Experience in immersive English-Mandarin bilingual environments is advantageous.
• Assess, track, and report on student progress and behavior; provide feedback and set improvement goals.
• Prepare and present class assemblies and grade-level performances or productions.
• Contribute to the extracurricular programme (ECAs) and pastoral support for students.
