Job summary

The Perse School (Singapore) invites applications for a Teaching Assistant in its Chinese-English bilingual programme. Start date January 2027.

The TA will support both core Maths and English learning, work with groups and individuals, and assist teachers in creating an engaging classroom environment. Applicants should hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have at least 1 year of school experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a school setting preferred.
• EAL/learning support experience desirable.
• Eligible to work in Singapore and meet safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with delivering curriculum and supporting student progress.
• Prepare materials, organise the classroom, and create learning displays.
• Support pupils with additional needs and implement IEP targets where applicable.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school leaders to monitor student wellbeing.
• Participate in safeguarding duties and promote a positive school environment.
